Brian Bartlett

Life-long, forty year veteran of IT dating back to punch-cards, magnetic tapes, and Winchester fixed-removable disk packs. I also happen to be a multi-disciplinary engineer-analyst inside and outside of IT with statistics, economics [econometrics, international development, & international finance and investment] tossed in for flavoring. Stir in a thirteen year career in the U. S. Navy, cut short by disability, and you have an interesting mix.

Mostly I focus on virtualization, modeling complex systems, systems security, and other bleeding edge areas to keep life interesting. It helps distract from the pain here. Please pardon me if I'm more than a bit acerbic at times.

Note: If you were on CompuServe from 1987 to 2005, I'm that Brian Bartlett, ex-SysOp and technical advisor. And yes, I was acerbic there too ;-).
